It is with great regret that this weekends Triathlon by the Sea is to be canceled for insurance reasons.

Our sincere apologies to everyone who was working hard for this event. We would at this time like to thank, Parks Candada, Highway Saftey, the RCMP and the several people who had offered there time to volunteer for the event.

Once again we are very sorry for this situation. we would like to remind everyone of the Canada Games test event that will take place in Summerside the following weekend.

OK so you may be reading this thinking I can't wait to get my bike outside and really put some miles on this spring. Well if you are and then it would be a good idea to beat the Spring rush. As far as tune ups go the season has already started. As of today March 12th we've been able to run with a 24 hour turn around but as most of you know come April 1st the waits get to be a bit longer. Therefore if you got the itch for spring bring your bike in today.

We are pleased to announce that Smooth Cycle accepted the Young Entrepreneur Award for PEI from the BDC durring Small Business Week. The award is a tremendous honour and we thank all freinds, family and customers for all of their support in helping us acheive our goals. Jared accepted the award in Winnipeg, Manitoba on October 16th 2007. "Winning the award gave me a the oppurtunity to meet some incredible people from all across this country. The experiences and freindships I've had in  Winnipeg are  very valuable to me. I want to thank everyone who's supported me and allowed me to have a carreer in the sport I love so much."

You'd have to be hibernating this winter to not know or hear about our new Smooth Cycle location on University Avenue here in Charlottetown.   The store has a great new look, with loads more showroom space.  Our inventory is growing daily to meet you needs for the fast approaching cycling season.  So if you have just waken up and haven't yet dropped by,  now's the time to stop in to see our new look!
